Vendor selection is probably the most important decision for the success of the retail business. Due to the affordability of technology, many companies create very professional websites using the technical expertise of IT companies in Asia, whereas they actually lack technical and infrastructural capabilities to handle internationally accepted production quality. We use multiple sources of information to evaluate each and every supplier. Our compliance team must approve all our vendors before we even start any sampling with them. We try to take 360-degree feedback from the vendor to understand their existing quality practices and shipment delivery history. We take feedback from their old employees, existing and old customers, sub-vendors, and other reliable sources from the market.

The vendor for a particular order is selected on the basis of the “Product Capability-Price-Timely Delivery-Quality Control” matrix. If a particular order is for promotional purposes, then price plays the guiding factor, and our choice is based on the best price, timely delivery, and reasonable quality. But, for a high-quality, prestigious order, price is not the sole factor in decision-making, so quality and timely delivery becomes the deciding factor. All our vendors pay fair wages to their employees, follow ethical practices, and no child labor is involved in their factories. Almost all of our suppliers are social and environment-conscious and offer sustainable textiles. Due to our fair practices and professionalism, We are associated with some home textile exporters in India since last more than a decade. We are working with leading cotton towel manufacturers in India for more than fifteen years.

We work very closely with leading independent Indian designers, product development teams at manufacturing mills, and design teams of our overseas customers. Our close association with design and development teams helps us arrive at the most suitable fabric construction and production processes, which helps us bring the cost down as per the customer’s target price and budgetary constraints. We ensure to meet the deadlines of development, production planning, and scheduling. All of this is achieved through a series of product creation phases. Idea generation, idea screening, design development, and testing, business strategy development, product development, marketing research, and market commercialization. Product development, as everybody knows, entails risking valuable time, money, and intellectual assets, so proper planning and reliability of the supplier are crucial.

For special designs and production programs, we sign an exclusivity agreement with our suppliers for specific markets. Our customers help us to understand all major products customers are looking for online so we can develop new products accordingly. We were one of the few buying agents who started sourcing Organic textile sheet sets, organic Duvet covers, and Organic towels in India back in 2002-2004. Due to timely feedback from customers, we could develop and start Bamboo Sheets and Bamboo towels manufacturing in India ahead of our competitors. We are regularly sourcing Hemp Sheets, Hemp Pillows, and Hemp quilt covers from India. We are shipping Silk Pillow of high quality from India on regular basis. We are working very closely with 100% cotton sheets manufacturers in India starting from 144TC to 1000TC. We are able to achieve a pilling rating of 4 for our super soft cotton sheets In 400TC cotton sheets and for 1000TC cotton sheet sets which we are running since last more than a decade. We are using combed compact yarn for most of our sheets

None of our suppliers is allowed to offer bribes, kickbacks, gifts, favors, loans, or services to any of our employees or client for any reason. We also ensure that workplace and working hours are as per international standards. We prefer suppliers who use renewable energy sources for most of their requirements, provide subsidized food for the employees, are committed to using more recycled material in the manufacturing and packaging, and work for the welfare of the employees.
